Warehouse Supervisor

Source Co are looking for an experienced chilled warehouse supervisor for a well-established food manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. PLEASE NOT THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE SOME WEEKEND WORK

The Role:

As Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the chilled warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Salary: £40,900 per annum (45 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, motivate, train, and support warehouse and yard staff Ensure safe working practices and company procedures are followed Monitor chilled warehouse conditions and ensure products are stored correctly Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve issues Maintain accurate warehouse paperwork and records Complete daily stock checks and ensure correct stock rotation Ensure customer orders are accurate and dispatched to a high standard Maintain a clean, safe working environment Check vehicle refrigeration systems are operating correctly Support loading and unloading operations to maintain efficient turnaround times Provide cover during holidays, sickness, and busy periods Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required

About You:

Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse team Strong communication and people management skills Ability to motivate and support team members Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Organised with the ability to work to deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns Desirable:
Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience (training available for the right candidate)
