Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) – sponsorship not offered
Salary: £51,000

• All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met
• Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
• Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
• Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties
• Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices
• Working towards a range of clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and student progression

• Hold a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance obtained in the UK or equivalent; full membership of PSRB (PhD desirable)
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit or similar subjects
• Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
• Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people

• Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years), or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent)
• Fully qualified from PSRB's (both affiliates or active members) such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and/or IFA
