Logical Personnel Solutions are currently requiring on behalf of a market leading engineering company who are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor. The Mechanical Supervisor will undertake all duties associated with mechanical fitting and site supervision, operating out of the company’s facility in Rotherham as well as client sites. This role requires the application of technical skills and knowledge to meet client demands and deliver solutions to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide site service and maintenance at industrial and petrochemical facilities, including airports throughout the UK

* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works, keeping line management fully briefed on progress

* Identify issues on-site and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal service delivery

* Accurately complete all site documentation, including permits, method statements, and risk assessments, in a timely manner

* Ensure all works documentation is submitted correctly and within specified deadlines

* Compile detailed and accurate written reports for clients

* Provide remote diagnosis and technical support for customer systems

* Support workshop activities, including mechanical build and functional testing

* Undertake any additional duties within experience and qualifications as requested by management that add value to operations

Essential Requirements /

About You:

* Demonstrable Hazardous Area Training

* Site Safety Passport

* Significant experience in mechanical equipment repairs and maintenance

* Relevant mechanical qualifications or recognised apprenticeship

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and supervise site teams effectively
