Teacher of Food Technology

Teacher of Food Technology delivering engaging and practical lessons across Design Technology and Food Technology, encouraging creativity, problem‑solving, and independence.

Pay

Pay range: M1 - UPS3 (Fringe) £34,398.00 - £52,590.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons in Food Technology
  • Inspire creativity, innovation, and practical skills development
  • Assess, track, and evaluate students’ design work, providing clear feedback to support progress and examination outcomes.
  • Promote sustainability, innovation, and real‑world application through practical and theoretical learning experiences.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
  • Passion for practical, hands‑on teaching and learning
  • Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
