Overview
Senior Manager, Financial Reporting role focused on overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and IAS, and supporting management with timely financial information.
Responsibilities- Oversee preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
- Manage the Planful Financial Reporting Consolidation system (Actual, Budget, and Forecast reporting).
- Manage corporate accounting processes, including centralized capital tracking.
- Assist in preparation of the monthly Board deck, including all supporting schedules.
- Manage the monthly close process, including reconciliations and analyses of related accounts.
- Provide oversight to the Accounts Receivable function, including weekly reviews of aged accounts and credits.
- Oversee buying group, rebate, and shelter calculation and payment process in coordination with the Sales team.
- Manage the annual detailed budget process.
- Coordinate the company’s annual audit with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
- Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures related to the financial reporting process.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
- Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance.
- Communicate accounting issues and evolving guidance to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 5-7+ years combined experience in the manufacturing industry and Big 4/public accounting (or equivalent)
- Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Work environment:
Typical office setting with some exposure to the manufacturing facility. Workdays are generally Monday through Friday with potential for additional hours as required.
