Base Pay Range$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Lead Financial Analyst – lead inventory analysis, oversee income statement performance, and support cost‑saving, planning, and tracking initiatives that align financial results with the company’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Controller and assisting the SVP of Finance, this role delivers clear, data‑driven insights through executive reports, financial models, and enhanced BI dashboards. In addition to supporting daily accounting and treasury operations, the Lead Financial Analyst will partner across functions to drive continuous improvement in forecasting, efficiency, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead OPTO’s planning and tracking initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare and present financial reports and executive dashboards (monthly, quarterly, annual) with clear analysis of variances, trends, and key performance drivers.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to drive financial performance and decision‑making.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and business units to evaluate profitability, spending trends, and plant‑level performance.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align operational initiatives with financial goals and improve margin and efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining Power BI dashboards and other analytics to deliver timely, data‑driven insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
- Conduct financial analysis and ROI assessments for projects, pricing strategies, and other strategic investments.
- Support ad hoc analyses to guide business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 5-8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance, within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with Power BI (preferred) or other business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects, Qlik).
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Business acumen with the ability to partner cross‑functionally.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary, plus up to 20% bonus

Physical Requirements
This position is based in an office environment. The role involves sitting and standing at a desk, frequent in‑person and phone communication, and the regular use of standard office equipment, including phones and computers.
