The Finance Director is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the financial strategy, controlling processes, and overall fiscal management of the freight forwarding business for Gebrüder Weiss N.A.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA preferred
• 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain required
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, trade compliance and customs regulations
• Experience working in an international environment
• Advanced proficiency in ERP/TMA systems and financial modeling
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities; able to work under pressure

• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals
• Provide strategic financial insights for pricing, trade lanes, procurement and expansion
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing with accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Implement internal controls and ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance
• Lead internal and external audits; mitigate financial and operational risks
• Optimize cash flow through AR/AP management and credit control
• Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, FX exposure and liquidity planning
