Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Matrix Plastic Products, LLC is a quality-driven custom manufacturer of injection-molded medical device components and assemblies.

We are looking for an experienced quality inspector to join our team on the 2nd shift (3:45 pm – 12:00 am).

Job Type: Full‑Time (on‑site)

Pay: $18.30 – $22.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:45 pm – 12:00 am)

• Creating inspection layouts.
• Performing incoming and in-process inspections.
• Certifying production to customer specifications using equipment ranging from hand‑held instruments and gauges to multi‑sensor measuring systems (vision, touch‑probe, laser) and 3‑D scanning.

3 years of plastics-related quality assurance experience is preferred.

• Reading and understanding blueprints.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with inspection gauges and techniques.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Spreadsheets and reports.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection report formats such as:
• First Article Inspections (FAI)
• Capability Study Reports (SPC)
• Melt Flow Indexer Reports (resin, raw, or granulated)
• Moisture Analysis
• In‑Process Inspection Reports
• Gauge R&R’s
• Capability Studies
• PPAP Reports (per AIAG)
• IQ/OQ/PQ Process Validation Reports
• Control Plans
• pFMEA Reports
• Process Flow Diagrams
