As MEI USA continues to evolve and grow our business across North America, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assembly Operator.
You will report to our Assembly Supervisor and be involved in the repair department and working with various mechanical parts.
Assembly Operator Responsibilities:
- Part replacement and reconditioning.
- Performing all the steps of the repair process (failure analysis, diagnosing defects, disassembly and cleaning, and component inspection).
- Balance shafts, prep components for assembly, install motor rotors and stators.
- Mechanically and electrically test and certify spindles are built and performing to known mechanical and electrical specification and industry standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance of the machines.
- Following safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm. - Starting pay between $18.48 - $27.67.
- We offer competitive base pay, overtime, and a discretionary bonus.

Education and Other Requirements:
- 3 years’ manufacturing experience (preferred)
- 2 years’ experience with calipers and micrometers
- 2 years’ experience of assembly/repair work
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Understanding of the metric scale
- High school diploma or equivalent
