The Air Export Agent will manage end-to-end air export operations, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of international cargo. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Prepare and process export documentation including MAWB/HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, and Letters of Instruction.
• Communicate with airlines, co-loaders, trucking companies, and overseas partners to ensure efficient cargo movement.
• Track and trace shipments, proactively addressing delays or exceptions.
• Provide accurate and timely customer updates and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with TSA, U.S. Customs, and international export regulations.
• Arrange cargo pickup, consolidation, and delivery to airline terminals.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors as needed.
• Maintain shipment data within company systems and prepare billing/invoicing.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in operational efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in air export operations within freight forwarding (required).
• Strong knowledge of TSA regulations, AES filings, and export compliance.
• Familiarity with airline bookings, cargo terminals, and international documentation.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
