Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at Nexus of Wood River. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities by ensuring that all laundry is properly washed, folded, and distributed to our patients and staff.
Responsibilities- Wash, dry, iron, and fold patient and facility laundry in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate laundry equipment, including commercial washing machines, dryers, and steam irons
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control guidelines and safety protocols
- Identify and report any issues or concerns with laundry equipment or supplies to the supervisor or maintenance department
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that laundry is properly distributed and stored
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
