The
Career Quality Inspector, Mobile Repair position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge.

• Performs inspection of tank or freight car assemblies, parts, or material the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
• Performs a variety of standard testing processes on in-process or final products during manufacturing or inspection and records and analyzes results.
• Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
• May use automated and manual techniques including to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects.
• May be responsible for testing during production and finished products.
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position.
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• May be required to achieve certification in at least 2 NDE methods (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound, radiography film interpretation)
• Performs Final inspection at 1 hold points or processes.
• Some administrative duties will be assigned

• Meets Level 1 requirements
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• May be required to achieve certification in at least 2 NDE methods (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound, radiography film interpretation)
• Performs Final inspection at 1 hold points or processes.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record.
