Job OverviewThomas Mills High School are seeking to appoint an inspiring and well-qualified Teacher of Mathematics from September 2026 to join a very successful Mathematics department. Mathematics is a popular subject at the school and there is a thirst for learning amongst the pupils.
You will be an enthusiastic and organised teacher with a good knowledge of Mathematics. It is essential to be able to teach the full age and ability range up to GCSE. Ideally the candidate will also be able to teach up to ‘A’ Level which is a popular option. Our students will relish being inspired by a great teacher. The Department works well together as a team, sharing good ideas and supporting each other.
Full time or part-time can be considered. The post would suit a candidate looking to gain experience in another school and full support can be provided for your own career aspirations. Equally we could support an ECT and the school has an established induction programme.
We are a flourishing 11-18 high school situated in the pleasant and historic town of Framlingham, Suffolk. We are consistently one of the region’s highest performing schools.

- Collaborate with the Mathematics team, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
- Support the induction and development of early career teachers (ECT).
- Well-qualified teacher of Mathematics.
- Good knowledge of Mathematics curriculum.
- Experience teaching GCSE mathematics.
