Stonetech Recruitment are working with a well-established and expanding precision engineering company on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner or CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team.

• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or CNC milling machines.
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final quality inspections.
• Making tooling and offset adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
• Working to high quality standards within a precision engineering environment.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area.

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment.
• Ability to programme, set and operate CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in both milling and turning would be advantageous but is not essential.
