Field technician – Roofing

Provide technical support to the sales department and our client base for Roofing and Building Envelope systems installed on the different sites. Provide internal and external training related to the processes and recommendations of uses on Soprema products. Provide on site evaluation on installation of Soprema systems . Provide assistance as requ ired on any potential leak call investigations, that may arise in our platinum warranty program.

• Provide technical support for systems installed on jobsites.
• Provide support on equipment used to apply the products.
• Providerequiredtrainingto our client baseforallofour products offered.
• Ensure proper construction of our products on site to ensure thatproductsperformasdesigned.
• Diagnose technical application problemsanddeterminepropersolutions.
• Provide and ensure that site visits reports are completed,recordedandfiled for all warranty projects efficiently andin a timely manner.
• Ensure that all warranty projects aretrackedwithsitevisitsas per our technical department requirements.
• Provide technical feed backand support to sales and technicaldepartmenton new products and or any existing products to ensure compatibilitywithcompany’sexisting products and systems.
• Perform any other related dutiesas assigned bySales

Your education :

• Experience in Construction Related Building Envelope Enclosure ;
• Validdriverslicensewithagood driving abstract;
• Advanced oral and written English
• Red Seal Journeyman Roofer/Waterproofer(an asset)

Your Knowledge and Competencies :

• 3-5years of experience with roof installation
• Experience invariousmodes of installations;
  
  Torch Applied, Flameless and Liquid Applications
• Familiar with Construction Building Materials;
• General principles and best practice son the operation of commercialinsulationand installation of complete roof assemblies

Your Skills and attitudes :

• Easy to adaptand acceptnewdirection,situations,procedures, witha positive attitude;
• Ability towork cooperatively with sales representative and other depart mentor colleagues in the organization;
• Ability to communicate technically with different parties on site, such as contractor,consultant, architects;
• Demonstrate an ability to learn new concepts and practices as it relates to Soprema’sclient base;
• Ability tojudge detectand diffuse controversial situations, that may compromise yourself and Soprema.
• Competence with Salesforce and Microsoft Office

Your Work Conditions :

• 40 hours per week;
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules;
• Frequent travel.
