This full‑time Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will travel 50‑75% within New York State to conduct safety inspections, develop safety programs, and provide training at client sites, primarily in Upstate New York (Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton).

• Travel to clients and conduct safety inspections of worksites and facilities.
• Identify workplace hazards and submit recommendations for compliance.
• Write safety programs and assist with implementation.
• Hold safety classes with client employees when indicated.
• Create safety manuals, including site‑specific manuals when required.
• Discuss safety protocols with general contractors.
• Interact with governmental agencies when mitigation is required.

• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 (all sub‑parts) required.
• Certification and experience in forklift, aerial lift, and boom safety training.
• OSHA certified trainer and NYS CR‑59 certification is a plus; may obtain during employment.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to problem identification and solution recommendation.
• High business acumen and ability to communicate clearly with all management levels.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to travel 50‑75% within New York State.

Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000. Compensation varies with job‑related factors such as experience and qualifications. Benefits and variable pay programs are competitively structured.
