Job Title: Industrial Paint Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Industrial Paint Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs, labor, materials, and timelines involved in industrial painting projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of industrial coatings, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand scope and requirements.
  • Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs for industrial painting projects.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, proposals, and bids.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and delivery information.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to improve estimate accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding estimates and project details.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in all estimates.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
  • Assist in project scheduling and resource allocation based on estimate data.
  • Continuously update knowledge of paints, coatings, and industrial surface preparation techniques.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an estimator in industrial painting or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of coating types, surface preparation, and industrial painting processes.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
Base Pay Range

$80,000.00 / yr ‑ $ / yr
