Job Summary: We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of automotive experience to support the design, development, and validation of mechanical components and systems. This role involves hands‑on engineering work across the product development lifecycle, from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for automotive applications
- Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA, Creo, Solid Works, or NX
- Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, and DFM/DFA reviews
- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation (DV/PV)
- Participate in FMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions (8D)
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program teams
- Support BOM creation, ECO/ECR processes, and engineering releases
- Assist in cost reduction, weight optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and internal design guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in automotive or mobility-related engineering
- Strong mechanical design and product development experience
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA / Creo / Solid Works / NX)
- Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Experience with automotive materials (metals, plastics, rubber, composites)
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA processes
- Good communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Experience with EV systems, powertrain, chassis, interiors, or body structures
- Exposure to thermal, structural, or vibration analysis
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing teams
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO standards
- Experience supporting production launch or sustaining engineering
