Position Overview:

This is a lead-level role responsible for accurately facilitating all commercial loan-closing activities and maintaining a professional liaison between customers, Relationship Managers, and outside professionals. Job performance is evaluated on accuracy, timeliness, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The incumbent may also act in a leadership role by training less experienced closers or handling specialized areas.

• Prepare and review pre-closing documentation for commercial lending and commercial real estate construction and permanent loans. Ensure files are organized, documentation is accurate, and all closing conditions and covenants are met.
• Set up loan files, complete loan sheets, calculate escrows, reserves, and prepaid interest, prepare general ledger entries, and initiate wire transfers.
• Coordinate with attorneys, Relationship Managers, and other professionals to schedule timely closings.
• Maintain loan closing reference procedures, post-closing documentation, and reports for Loan Servicing and Commercial Lending systems.
• Assist with construction loan closings and attend pre-construction meetings.
• Prepare and process monthly and ad-hoc reports, including Approvals In Process, Attorney Reports, and Closers Reports.
• Verify OFAC and Patriot Act information and review mortgage discharges for accuracy.
• Support daily department responsibilities, including customer inquiries and problem-solving.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial loan or construction mortgage loan closings.
• Strong knowledge of construction mortgage loan closing processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage heavy workflow, resolve issues independently, and maintain attention to detail.
• Proficiency with software and banking systems.

Annual Salary: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00
