We have a Therapeutic Art Room and need an Art Therapist to provide services to our clients. Work with a fun, creative, innovative team that strives to provide mental health services to all in the community. As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health you will share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care in an environment driven by core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.
Responsibilities Include:- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes per company policy.
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session according to company guidelines and protocol.
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits per week (Full‑Time status).
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
- Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited institution and on track to obtain licensure in your designated field.
- Active clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.).
- Certified Art Therapist or equivalent degree/experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
- Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with an insurance panel.
- Competitive salary ($65,000–$80,000 per year) and hourly pay structure PLUS commission on claims.
