Summary:

We are seeking an ETL Developer (Data Stage) for long-term consulting work with a Fortune 500 organization in Central New Jersey.

Job Purpose/

Description:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of IT work experience focused in Data Acquisition and Data Integration using Data Stage
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience with ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL Package
• Experience working with flat files and XML transformations
• Deep experience in ETL development using Data Stage V8 or higher
• Ability to design multi-tiered data delivery applications based on given requirements
• Ability to facilitate requirements and design sessions with business users
• Experience creating high level and low level designs and working with business stakeholders
• Analyzes performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with systems / applications software and/or application components.
• Provides mentoring and training to junior staff.
• Excels at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.
• Translates business requirements into functional / technical specifications; oversees implementation of these specifications.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• 4-6 plus years of IT work experience in IBM Data Stage is a MUST
• 4-6 plus years of IT work experience in Oracle RDBMS is a MUST
• 1-2 Years of UNIX Scripting is desirable
• 1-2 Years of Autosys is desirable
