Accountant, Ceded Reinsurance (2500004J) Job Summary

Assist with the following:

• Ceded Reinsurance Processing
• AW Global Application Business Expert
• Respond to questions from global departments with regards to ceded reinsurance
• Set up of treaty and facultative contracts in the ceded reinsurance system in line with underlying contract terms and conditions
• Review of weekly ceded reinsurance claims calculation from the ceded reinsurance system
• Review weekly ceded premium result from the ceded reinsurance system
• Review of biweekly facultative notice and billing document generation
• Along with IT, responsible for initiating weekly and monthly ceded premium and loss calculations
• Along with IT, responsible for completing the monthly application close
  
  Assist with the implementation of ceded reinsurance system enhancements
• Assist with company expansion into new territories including new product development
• Internal Audit Support

• Minimum 3 years ceded reinsurance accounting experience
• Familiarity with treaty and facultative insurance contract terminology
• Experience with ceded reinsurance applications
• Strong information technology experience including familiarity with Microsoft office, specifically Excel
• Experience in the development of efficient systems and processes
• Proven ability to meet strict reporting deadlines, ability to deal with time pressure

Undergraduate Degree in Accounting of Finance

The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below the listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but not limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment.

Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.

$95,000 - $105,000
