Operations Coordinator

Responsible for organizing and synchronizing all job related activities between the field staff, dispatch, operations, laboratory and customers.

• Communicate with the dispatcher and operations/branch manager to ensure work requirements are met with adequately qualified employees
• Relay the customer’s requests to the field and laboratory employees
• Ensure that necessary updates and final communications are distributed in accordance with customer requirements and AmSpec policy
• Prepare and distribute all reports including final wires and invoice
• Inform the Operations Manager/Supervisor of any problems that could potentially affect customers
• Meet with customers as needed and represent the company at industry functions that could result in improved levels of work from the customer
• Assist the Operations Manager/Supervisor with ensuring the adherence of company policy by the field staff

• 5+ years experience in the Petroleum, Petrochemical, and Chemical industry
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Bachelors’ or Associates Degree preferred

Office Environment, Field attendance likely, Possible attendance at industry events and social functions

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to wear PPE including respirator
• Ability to work for extended periods of time both during and outside normal business hours
• Ability to multi-task and work under high levels of stress
