Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and guide the implementation of scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable enterprise applications across multiple technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based application architecture, working knowledge of Python, and the ability to evaluate and integrate diverse technologies based on business and technical requirements.
The role requires end-to-end ownership of solution architecture, including application design, API and integration patterns, data architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, performance, and operational readiness. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, technical leads, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into practical, cost-effective technical solutions.
This is a hands‑on architecture and technical leadership role requiring the ability to review code and designs, develop proof of concepts, establish engineering standards, and guide development teams through implementation.
Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Technical Design- Own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications, modernization initiatives, and system integration projects.
- Translate business and functional requirements into solution architecture, component designs, technology choices, and implementation roadmaps.
- Design scalable, highly available, fault‑tolerant, and secure distributed systems.
- Define application boundaries, service decomposition, design patterns, and architectural standards.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy options and recommend appropriate technologies based on business value, cost, complexity, and maintainability.
- Create architecture diagrams, solution design documents, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and technical specifications.
- Provide strong architectural and technical leadership across Java-based enterprise applications.
- Guide the design and development of applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related enterprise technologies.
- Understand object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, concurrency, exception handling, and performance optimization.
- Design microservices, modular applications, and distributed systems using appropriate architectural patterns.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, API development, data processing, or AI-enabled integrations.
- Review code and technical designs to ensure consistency with architecture standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Design RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Define API contracts, versioning, authentication, authorization, error handling, and backward compatibility.
- Architect integrations with enterprise applications, third‑party platforms, databases, and external services.
- Apply messaging and streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging services where appropriate.
- Address distributed transaction management, idempotency, retries, circuit breakers, and eventual consistency.
- Establish integration standards and reusable architectural components.
- Design and guide deployment of applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other major cloud platforms.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles using containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and managed services where appropriate.
- Define infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery requirements.
