General Accountant

Join the Finance & Accounting team as a General Accountant in Woodbridge, Ontario. Support month-end close and reconciliations in a hands-on role.

This permanent, full-time position reports to the Controller and is ideal for an accountant seeking broad exposure across the accounting cycle.

Your role will include financial reporting, account analysis, and ensuring the finance function runs smoothly in a plant environment. Experience in Microsoft Business Central is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting

• Prepare and review balance sheet account schedules

• Process monthly adjusting journal entries accurately

• Perform inventory ledger reconciliations and adjustments

• Support year-end audit preparations and activities

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience required

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel needed

• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central preferred

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Effective communication skills essential
