French Language Tutor

Position: French Language Tutor Wanted
Join our mission to enhance children's French education as a Tutor in Woodbridge. Inspire students from 'Je ne sais pas' to fluent conversations during after-school hours.

We require a dedicated French Teacher/Tutor for in-person instruction after school, with hours from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays. A bachelor’s degree or similar qualification is essential, along with strong spoken and written French skills. Commitment through the school year and summer is preferred for continuity in student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach 3 students simultaneously, catering to different levels

• Adhere to Oxford Learning methods during lessons

• Document post-lesson notes for student tracking

• Provide regular communication updates regarding student progress

• Ensure a professional and approachable teaching presence

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification

• Experience in teaching/tutoring French at Grade 9-12 level

• Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English

• Skill in managing multiple learners at once

• Mandatory vulnerable sector screening
