CNC Machinist (3 & 4 Axis Vertical Milling) – Aerospace / Precision Shop

Mississauga, ON

Up to $35/hr + 5% Shift Premium + OT + Benefits

• Mon–Thurs: 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Fri: 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM

This is a true job shop environment—not production work.

You’ll be machining new, high-precision components for aerospace, nuclear, medical, and defence industries. This role is ideal for a machinist who enjoys setup, problem-solving, and working on complex parts, not just loading parts and pressing cycle start.

• Set up and operate 3 & 4 axis CNC vertical milling machines
• Load and run programs (no programming required)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Select tooling, set offsets, and make adjustments as needed
• Work to tight tolerances in a precision environment
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools
• Run jobs independently while working within a team environment

• 3+ years CNC machining experience (10+ years for senior-level candidates)
• Strong experience with CNC vertical milling (setup + operation)
• Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls
• Comfortable in a job shop / high-mix environment
• Ability to read blueprints and work with precision components
• Aerospace or high-precision machining experience is a strong asset
• Familiarity with Mastercam is an asset (not required)
