Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll be tasked with evaluating and improving production workflows, managing capital equipment projects, and applying LEAN principles to drive efficiency. A background in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and suggest improvements
• Oversee capital equipment purchases and budgets
• Conduct time studies for enhanced productivity
• Create and update manufacturing standards and procedures
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions for team collaboration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
• 3-5 years related manufacturing experience
• Expertise in CAD software including Solid Works
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma practices
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
