JS Morlu is a small CPA firm that provides accounting, audits, and business taxes that specialize in industries such as government contractors, 501(3) Charities & Foundations, Home-Health Care, and Common Interest Real Estate Associations. We are looking for an Accounting Manager who can manage our accounting staff and provide excellent service for our clients from our office location in Woodbridge, VA. This position also holds the opportunity to move up in our company for new career opportunities.

• 5 minimum years of relevant experience
• Supervisory experience
• Proven experience in at least audits, taxes, or all accounting
• Quick Books Pro (Desk/Online) or Sage 50 US Edition
• Drake Tax Software a plus
• DCAA/Government Contract accounting a plus
• Small business accounting experience a plus

• Review and approve work of staff accountants and consultants, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Assign client work to staff
• Ensure implementation of monthly processes & procedures
• Set targets & monitor deliverables

• Serves as main point of contact for clients
• Lead and participate in client meetings
• Provide solutions to client and accounting issues as they arise

• Substitute for Managing Partner in his absence
