• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Update patients' medical and dental records
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive care
• Perform surgical procedures on the oral cavity
• Maintain highest standard of care, ethics, and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and technologies through continuing education

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification
