Medcor is seeking a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our occupational health clinic in Keasbey, NJ. The position is Monday‑Friday, 11:00 pm‑7:00 am.
Compensation: $31.00–$36.00 per hour.
A typical day in the life of a Medcor Onsite Health Technician- Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations.
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
- Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols).
- Build and maintain internal team relationships.
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
- Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues.
- Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools.
- Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
- Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
- Case management.
- OSHA record‑keeping.
- Be able to work independently and have excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Have valid licensure for the position you are applying for and current CPR/BLS certification.
- Have strong computer and technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.) and familiarity with EMR software.
- Be strong enough to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a positive and outgoing personality.
- Be willing to go above and beyond.
- Be passionate about people and giving them the best care possible.
- Be able to have fun.
- You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment.
- You have relevant occupational health experience.
- You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
