The mission of FBCW is nothing new. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus gave His first followers a mission. Some call it a Great Commission. They were to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
(Matthew 28:19-20). This command was not just for the first followers but is also for Jesus’ followers today! Jesus is calling and commanding us to be a disciple‑making church. What an incredible and exciting truth it is to be loved by, live for, and lead others to Jesus. We have a vision to increasingly become more and more a “Go & Tell” church.
Our desire is for what happens in the church walls to reverberate into the streets outside to reach our neighbors and the nations for the glory of God.
