Patient Care Specialist

Sentara Urgent Care Port Potomac is hiring a Full‑Time Patient Care Specialist in Woodbridge, VA.

Woodbridge, VA

Swing shift: 2 12‑hour shifts—one 8‑hour shift and one 6‑hour shift with alternating weekends. Clinic hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.;
Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

• Provide non‑clinical support within a physician’s office to ensure an excellent patient experience.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and address patient questions.
• Perform a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery.
• Collaborate closely with team members to provide high‑quality care.

• Education: HS – High School Grad or equivalent.
• Experience: Three (3) years Clerical, Customer Service experience required.
• One year experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third‑Party Payers required.
• Associate’s degree in lieu of the required experience will be considered.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.
