MRI Technologist II

Sentara is hiring a MRI Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia.

This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits.

The work schedule is Tuesday thru Friday from 9pm to 6:30am.

A sign-on bonus up to 30K is available to qualified candidates.

As a MRI Technologist
, you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and the integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.

• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience.
• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions)
• BLS

1-year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.
