Managing Partner, HR Executive Search and Temporary HR Staffing

Leading retailer with locations in Northern VA (primary work location is in Woodbridge). Fortune 500, NYSE-listed, $17B company. Great CHRO and HR org. We need a strategic HR Business Partner with ER exeprience.

• Understands, keeps abreast of industry trends and complies with federal, state and local employment laws
• Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with frontline team members and team members at all levels
• Partners with the Regional Leadership Team to provide support to the stores
• Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues
• Reviews and makes recommendations to the Sr. Director for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on team member matters
• Communicates changes in the organization’s team member policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed
• Provides consultation and training to management on human resource matters
• Plans, designs and develops human resource-related initiatives that support the organization’s mission
• Takes a leadership role in developing a culture that enables team members to perform in a professional and safe work environment
• Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities
• Partners with other HR departments to accomplish all HR department goals and initiatives
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
