Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) – Prince William County

We are an extremely service-oriented and client-focused non-profit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Prince William area. The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc. is currently seeking talented, experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses. Hourly position $30.00/hour.

Full-Time 40 hours per week:
Sunday–Wednesday 7:00 am–3:00 pm at a group home located in Woodbridge, VA 22191.

• Provide nursing services to all individuals in the INSIGHT program who require nursing support.
• Provide guidance and direction to staff on health issues and provide health-related education to staff who provide supports to individuals enrolled in the INSIGHT programs.

• Experience with intellectual and developmentally disabled individuals.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid license to practice in Virginia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Must pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA and VAN Training.
• Must pass criminal and child protective services background investigations.
• Must meet state of Virginia employment eligibility requirements.
• A valid Virginia driver's license and a minimum of three (3) years driving experience in the United States.
• Good driving record meeting agency’s vehicle insurance carrier requirements.
• Ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire.
