Recovery Room Nurse, GI​/Endoscopy

This position involves providing quality post-operative patient care in accordance with nursing standards and philosophy, focusing on post-anesthesia and critical care
.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on individual physiologic and surgical factors.
• React swiftly to adverse physiological changes to stabilize patients.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and proper use of recovery room equipment.
• Communicate effectively through verbal and written reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing education programs.
• Demonstrate professionalism by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of two years' recovery room or critical care experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Registered Nurse license from applicable states or a compact license.
• Credentials from multiple states required post-hire, including licenses from Virginia, Maryland, or District of Columbia within specified periods.
• Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer software.

• Recent recovery room experience.
• Certification in IV insertion and therapy.
• Endoscopy experience.
