Position Summary
This position receives, inspects, lists and ships donated items for online sale. The role is responsible for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

- Research potential merchandise to be placed online for sale, determining type, function, fair market value, eligibility for vintage/antique status, brand, potential buyers, authenticity, and other details to assess salability; update online manifest system as necessary.
- Take clear and accurate photographs of items, providing sufficient detail on appearance, condition, size, color, shape, composition, brand, model, and other descriptive information.
- Write persuasive sales copy describing appearance, condition, size, material, weight, color, shape, brand, model, and other significant factors.
- Use online systems to post items for sale on eBay, , and other markets as needed.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
- Retrieve items from shelves, package them, affix shipping labels, and stage merchandise for shipping.
- Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software of posted items, sales, inventory, and order details.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries from customers promptly, and support in‑store pickup of purchased items.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling devices.
- Coordinate and communicate with retail store e‑commerce representatives regarding items sent from that store.
- Maintain a quick and efficient work pace to meet posting quotas.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to Goodwill uniform standards.
- Assist with warehouse logistics as assigned and comply with policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed and assigned.
- At least six months of relevant work experience in retail, warehouse, e‑commerce, or similar customer‑service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet use.
- Detail‑oriented self‑starter able to learn e‑commerce requirements quickly.
- Ability to complete all assigned tasks efficiently, meeting departmental quotas.
- Highly responsible, reliable, and extremely organized.
- Ability to post and list products online in English.
- Ability to conduct reliable internet research.
- Familiarity with basic photographic principles and mid‑level digital camera operation, including photo upload.
- Capability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to temperature extremes, moderate dust, and noise.
- Ability to lift and carry up to thirty pounds, and push or pull up to 200 pounds using warehouse equipment.
- Access to reliable transportation and availability for variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous work experience in e‑commerce, warehouse, or retail environment.
