The primary function of the Operations Associate is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. The role is an early morning position, working with a team to perform pre-opening functions.
Primary Responsibilities- Customer Service – Assist customers quickly and courteously while maintaining a fast pace throughout the store.
- Executes pricing and signing – Adjust ticket prices and signage on merchandise efficiently.
- Replenish and restock – Identify low stock areas and help peers and leaders by pulling and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
- Receive and unload merchandise – Work with co‑workers to unload trucks and prepare items in the backroom.
- Backroom standards – Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
- Omnichannel – Contribute to Omnichannel efforts including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, Shipping Online Orders, and Merchandise Receiving.
- Merchandise strategy – Execute merchandising plans with efficiency and detail, maintaining standards on the sales floor.
- Participates in a learning environment – Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.
- Results – Solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit or customer service; execute work efficiently and inspire strong performance.
- Ownership – Provide great customer service; cooperate, build positive, inclusive and respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes.
- Intensity – Proactively find ways to improve the customer experience; show confidence and courage to do what’s right; take action with energy and urgency.
- Work experience – 1–2 years retail experience.
