Refrigeration Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial at Cool Sys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems. Join to apply for this position and support repair, maintenance, and installation projects across commercial and industrial environments.

• Provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical/mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that meets customer expectations.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment such as air conditioning units, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality performance.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible work history records and process job tickets and work orders promptly to support department operations.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases as needed.
• Engage in minor construction and remodeling projects, including startup of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle in a safe manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma/GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single-system and rack-system configurations; experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is helpful.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and to sit or stand for extended periods.
