CDL Class A Truck Driver – $90,000 to $95,000 per year (after training)

This role provides a base pay range of $90,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr, with potential earnings up to $120,000 yearly on certain routes.
Food and food service delivery drivers play a crucial role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition and act as the face of the company, building lasting customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities- Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors and co‑workers, answering questions accurately and promptly.
- Work as a team member within the department and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip inspections) for the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and company safety standards.
- Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Report safety hazards promptly and inspect the trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Perform a count check of items and verify customer invoices of loaded products.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Move the tractor to the loading dock, attach the preloaded trailer as needed.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route delivery schedule.
- Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks.
- Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required, load customer returns onto the trailer, and secure trailer doors.
- Ensure that the tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and/or secured at all times.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clean and clear.
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent.
- Valid CDL
A. - Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Pass a post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass a road test.
- Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheelers, lift gates, or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
