Customer Service Representative (Remote – Portland, OR)

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers of Copart. The primary function is to secure the release of vehicles located at body shops or other locations, including residences, and to provide general office support. The CSR is the face of the company, often the first interaction customers have with Copart. The role may expand to include chat and email support.

Call handling is measured on quality, professionalism, and resolution efficiency. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain vehicle releases from body shops and other locations.
  • Answer and place calls in a professional manner.
  • Resolve calls and use company resources to gather information and offer solutions.
  • Provide general office support as needed.
  • May participate in chat and email support.
Qualifications
  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with office equipment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem‑solving ability.
  • Computer proficiency – MS Office Suite.
  • Typing speed 45 WPM.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Occasional overtime as needed.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.29 per hour.
