Oregon Youth Authority is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Institution Registered Nurse to join our team at the Mac Laren Youth Correctional Facility. As a Health Services Clinic Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the physical and mental well-being of youth in custody. You will provide comprehensive health care services, ensuring high‑quality care to our youth.

Your primary focus will be direct professional nursing care to youth with physical and mental health complaints while developing individualized nursing care plans to address their specific needs. This is an exciting opportunity to positively impact the lives of young individuals and contribute to their rehabilitation and well‑being.

  • Multiple Positions: This recruitment announcement will establish a list of qualified candidates to fill current and future vacancies – permanent, full‑time, part‑time, and temporary positions with varying shifts.   • Part‑time positions: The Salary Range listed will be pro‑rated/reduced for the actual hours of work. Benefits are also prorated based on the number of hours worked.
  • Comprehensive and equitable base salary offer within the listed range based on your experience, skills, and education. For more information on pay equity, .
  • The salary range listed is the non‑PERS participating rate. If you are already a participating PERS member or become eligible, the salary range will increase by 6%. Please review the Classification and Compensation page for more details.
  • This position receives annual increases on the anniversary date until the maximum of the salary range is reached.

What We Are Looking For
