Logistics Coordinator​/Dispatcher; 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher to support their transportation and logistics operations. This is a hands-on role focused on dispatch, route management, and backhaul scheduling. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and know your way around dispatch systems—this role is for you. It is a temp to perm opportunity in Woodburn, OR.

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and support drivers with real-time updates and issue resolution.
• Maintain reports and logs using tools like Omnitracs, Kronos, and Excel.
• Handle damaged/shorted delivery reports and coordinate resolutions.
• Schedule backhaul pickups and optimize logistics for cost and compliance.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding delivery updates.
• Mentor junior clerical teammates as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse coordination.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Omnitracs, Kronos, and Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with transportation software preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT HOS regulations and Portland-area geography is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 2 PM–11 PM (Sunday starts at 4 PM)

Pay: $25-28/hr.
