The Impact You Will Make

The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department and be responsible for ensuring accounting transactions are processed and posted accurately and timely in a variety of areas. It is essential that the candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skill to best support the accounting team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial reporting and reconciliation

• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations with supporting documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial close
• Assist with year-end financial audit
• Monitor policies and procedures for compliance and suggest modifications and improvements as applicable
• Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
• Ad hoc reporting and projects as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• 2+ years’ experience in accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP a plus

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
