• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education, Child Development, required through completion of a Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• New York State Certification in Special Education required.
• Birth-2.
• Minimum one (1) year early childhood related experience to plan individual education plans (IEP’s) to meet the special needs of each child preferred.
• Prior early childhood teaching experience with a special education preschool required.

• Evaluate and provide appropriate special education services to assigned children.
• Oversee activities of assigned teacher assistants and aides; communicate appropriately and in a timely manner with families of assigned children.
• Increase professional knowledge in areas relevant to children enrolled in program.
