Salary Range:$38,000 – $46,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and professional
Cosmetology Instructor
to join our Woodbury team. This role is dedicated to
coaching, mentoring, and inspiring students
while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment—both in the classroom and on the clinic floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a
  coach and educator
  , modeling professionalism and technical excellence.
• Maintain a positive student experience and ensure a clean, professional school environment.
• Attend continuing education sessions to expand knowledge and bring value back to students.
• Update the School Manager and Student Services regarding student progress.
• Ensure students master proper industry terminology and technical skills.
• Prepare classrooms and clinic environments for effective learning.
• Provide extra guidance and support for students who need additional attention.
• Educate students in both technical and professional skills (sales, up-servicing, pre-booking, goal setting).
• Follow Nova’s curriculum and approval process for lesson plans.
• Record and submit student grades; deliver grade sheets to students.
• Act as an
  academic leader
  and representative of students, instructors, and the school.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota
  Cosmetology Instructor License
  (required).
• Previous teaching or instructor experience preferred.
• Strong background in
  Cosmetology, Nail Technology, or Esthetics
  .
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing future beauty professionals.
• Salary:$38,000 – $46,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
