RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast‑paced pain management clinic. The role includes patient care and general administrative support.

Pay range: $17.14–$27.73 per hour, based on experience.

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts (7:00 am – 5:00 pm). The position requires travel between several centers throughout the Twin Cities.

• Greets patients and escorts them to exam rooms.
• Records patient vitals and temperature.
• Assists MD or PA in the exam room as needed.
• Enters patient medical history and orders into RIS; schedules follow‑up appointments.
• Communicates with supervisors about medications and contraindications.
• Assists DTI department with patient prep.
• Obtains oral or urine samples for drug screens.
• Monitors clinic schedule and manages add‑on appointments.
• Facilitates patient flow under supervisor direction.
• Discharges patients with appropriate documentation.
• Calls or faxes prescriptions.
• Follows up with patients regarding pain management or narcotics.
• Documents prep calls in RISLogic, Exemplo or aRies.
• Assembles clinical paperwork for the next day.
• Handles incoming calls about past procedures.
• Coordinates patient flow with scheduling and front office.
• Maintains office supplies and assists with exam room cleaning.
• Provides additional team support as needed.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
