School Cafeteria Worker

Job Summary: Shifts are 4 to 5.75 hours midday Monday thru Friday on school contact days. The school cafeteria employee performs a variety of support responsibilities for food service operations including:

• Food preparation & meal serving
• Cleaning
• Cashiering

The work contributes to safe, efficient operation of the kitchen site and also to safe, timely availability and delivery of meals and services. Link to full job description

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in food preparation within the food service industry is desirable.

The Nutrition Services team at South Washington County Schools is hiring workers to help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch in our school cafeterias. Locations are in Woodbury, St Paul Park, Newport & Cottage Grove.
