We are seeking an Independent Doctor of Optometry to join a Lens Crafters Subleasing practice as an Associate Optometrist. The role offers professional autonomy, a full scope of practice, flexible scheduling, and access to advanced digital eye‑exam technology.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Use digital examination tools such as Clarify® and Daytona Optomap® (when available).
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with state regulations.
- Collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor to coordinate care and scheduling.
- Participate in patient recall and appointment follow‑up using the automated online system.
- Adopt a flexible schedule, including part‑time commitments or additional hours as needed.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active license to practice in New Jersey.
- Experience in private practice or retail eye‑care preferred.
- Strong communication skills and patient‑focused approach.
- Ability to work independently within a subleasing model.
- Full suite of OD equipment in a fully furnished office.
- Access to Clarify® digital exam technology and Daytona Optomap® imaging.
